"Fifteen year old outsider deals with his first relationship with a girl while keeping an eye on his mother whose ex-lover has resurfaced in her life. Though occasionally over indulgent in its over stylised nature, Ayode's impressive debut film certainly reveals him to be quite an impressive and creative visionary. The story itself has its moments of sweetness but is mostly an honest portrayal of the natural rights and wrongs of youthful convictions."
