"Unsing a Dostoevsky novel as a starting point, Turebayev tells the story of a man leading a monotonous life who becomes fascinated by an enigmatic femme fatale, who seems to pay a penchant for playing with his feelings as she waits for the true love of her life. 

The underlying elements of classic literature structure are certainly felt in Adventure, perhaps more so because of the accentuation brought on by the distinctive visual style employed by the filmmaker. 

Despite the vivid colour palette, in fact, the camera is very still and recalls the style of films from the 20th century. All the while, a deadpan approach and monotone draws a thin line between comedy and drama."
