"A woman awaits something, perhaps her execution, alone in a house, and goes through different psychological phases which almost drive her to madness as well as frustration. This experimental film is mostly a one woman show as the lead character is also alone on the screen for most of the film. Though the idea seems interesting and admirably ambitious, the outcome is weak and seemingly uninterested. On top of that, it is much too long and not thought provoking enough. Tschechowa fulfils her role well, and her presence is commanding."
