"One of the most famous and loved of the Disney classics. It tells the tale of Pongo and Peggy and their desperate search for their Dalmatian pups who, among others, were kidnapped by the evil Cruella de Vil with the intent of making a fur coat out of them for herself. 

Despite the somewhat restrictive and honestly unambitious initial subject, 101 Dalmatians by Walt Disney is surprisingly adventurous and extremely likeable not least of all because of its extremely likeable characters. 

What is perhaps more remarkable about the film is the villainous Cruella De Vil, one of the most recognisable and charismatic villains of Disney features and whose very incarnation in this film went on to shape many other despicable characters in future animation productions."
