"Three people are brought together by a freak accident. Inarritu’s examination of the lifes of each of the characters in 21 Grams reveals a wonderful work of script writing that is equally supported by the performances of the three leading actors Benicio del Toro, Sean Penn and Naomi Watts. 

Nevertheless, the actual style of the film is frustratingly misleading, to the point where it might be blatantly exaggerating a deeper hidden meaning through editing and pacing. This unfortunately lessens and audience’s connection with the characters, and keeps them at a distance."
