"A man falls in love with a girl who forgets him the next day due to her short term memory loss. 50 First Dates is another sad waste of an interesting and somewhat original initial premise. 

It simply trades in, like so many other romantic comedies of the kind, creativity for conventional structure. Real shame to see, also because Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore seem to work quite well together."
