Directed by - Walter Lantz

"After grounding his son for bringing home a puppy, a strict father is sent on trial by a group of magical dwarves who sentence him to the youth machine.

Originally intended to be a commercial for a toothpaste, and then bought out to be theatrically released by Universal pictures, BOY MEETS DOG never actually saw the light of day until it was finally bought out to be distributed on home video. But the film is overall unremarkable, almost like an underwhelming Merrie Melody.

Pretty forgettable and mostly devoid of any creativity to make it stand out, this short animation film either suffered from alterations that even make it a little inconsistent, or was simply seemed not good enough by its distributors of its times. Either way, even its animation doesn't look very up to scratch, so that doesn't leave it with much to say for itself."
