"After a memorabilia obsessed gangster steals his rare baseball card and only chance to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding, a veteran NYPD cop recruits his partner to track him down. 

KEVIN SMITH's comedies are either good of bad, and rarely in between. COP OUT is simply one of his worst films to date. Even when taken as the usual cop buddy flick, there is little to admire. In his defense, he didn't write the screenplay, but there is nothing he does to make it anything special or anything at all. 

It is wordy and constantly irritating. BRUCE WILLIS is blatantly uninterested in the material and his attempts at comedy are awkward and out of place. Almost to make up for such a weak turn, his co-star TRACY MORGAN is far too eccentric and only comes out as annoying. Simply awful."
