"To this day, this is one of the best worked mixing of live action and animation. But the whole appeal of the film does not end there.

The story is that of a murder mystery with Bob Hoskins playing a cartoon hating private detective hired by toon star Roger Rabbit to clear his name. Influenced by Looney Toones as much as film noir, the film shows off an impressive array of creative elements and it is skilfully brought to the screen in a very stylish and exciting way by helmer Robert Zemeckis.

The cast too seem to be having a lot of fun with it all, and this adds to the entertainment value of the work. Furthermore, this is the film that launched the character of Jessica Rabbit and made it an instant icon of sensuality."
